Yes, we can take our clients to their appointments in their own private vehicle or we can take them in our caregivers vehicle. There is an extra mileage charge if our caregiver uses his or her own vehicle. Our caregivers all have their own auto insurance and are bonded by CareBuilders at Home.
No, you do not have to be homebound to receive our services.
Yes, we work with many different long-term care insurance companies and would be glad to contact yours to see what type of documentation that they require in order to cover our services.
No, unfortunately Medicare does not pay for non-medical provider services at this time.
Some private insurance companies do pay for this service. Check with your individual insurance company to see if they cover this type of service.
No, our rate consists of our caregivers wages, payroll taxes, benefits, federal and state unemployment insurance, workers compensation insurance, and professional and general liability insurance. No money is ever exchanged between our clients and our caregivers.
Our rates depend on the type of services you or your loved one needs, but the cost is much less than the cost of alternative types of care, such as assisted living. Plus, you can set your own schedule, for as many or as few hours of services you need. We customize our services to your needs and budget.
As a non-medical home care provider we are only allowed to provide medication reminders after the medications are set up in pill boxes by the family, home care or hospice company.
